The HUB is our web-based, digital resource centre designed to improve communication and collaboration with our global network of OPITO approved centres. Launched in 2022 in tandem with our streamlined, risk-based OPITO approval process, The HUB marked a fundamental change in how we work with our centre network.
By placing the emphasis on support for centres, The HUB drives greater collaboration around quality assurance and approvals, product development and management, and data collection and storage.
The HUB helps to connect the right people with the right information and the right products, at the right time. It ensures that communication between our regional teams and each centre is fluid and transparent – and enables our teams to better support centres, both in person and online.
The HUB has been key to the successful integration of our approval processes, which are designed to increase efficiency and deliver flexibility for centres without compromising the integrity of OPITO products.
The HUB standardises how centres register and certify learners, ensuring greater automation of OPITO services. The certification includes QR codes to increase data security and 24/7 global access for certification verification.
Standardising this process reduces lead time between registration submission and data being recognised by Vantage, to minimise mobilisation issues.
OPITO’s certification validation tool gives learners and employers access to OPITO certificate validity information.
The resource is fully digital and accessible 24/7, allowing multiple certificates to be validated at once. This means urgent enquiries can be answered instantly across different time zones.
