OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical Technician)

This product is for those who currently work within a process engineering environment as a craftsperson and/or for individuals who are participating in a development programme which would ultimately lead to the individual becoming a mechanical maintenance technician.

To achieve the OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Oil and Gas Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical Technician) the learner needs to complete both of the units.

OGOS – M07: Carry out Routine Maintenance on Mechanical Plant & Equipment (Distribution Systems)

OGOS – M08: Carry out Routine Maintenance on Mechanical Plant & Equipment (Prime Movers)

Learners should be in a job or placement where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow then to gather the required evidence.

To achieve the OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Oil and Gas Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical) the learner needs to complete the two mandatory units.
