OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Electrical)

This training certificate is aimed at learners who are already familiar with the basics of an engineering workshop environment.

This training certificate consists of the two mandatory units below, which must be successfully completed.

OGTS– M23: Health and Safety in Oil and Gas Maintenance Workshops

OGTS –M24: Maintenance Working Practices

In addition, a minimum of 3 equipment groups from the below must be successfully completed:

OGTS – M66: Electrical Maintenance Techniques: Single Phase & 3 Phase AC Motors

OGTS – M68: Electrical Maintenance Techniques: Electrical Hand Tools

OGTS – M69: Electrical Maintenance Practice: Electrical Hand Tools

OGTS – M70: Electrical Maintenance Techniques: Single and 3 Phase Electrical Distribution Systems

OGTS – M71: Electrical Maintenance Practice: Single and 3 Phase Electrical Distribution Systems

OGTS – M72: Electrical Maintenance Techniques: DC Motors

OGTS – M73: Electrical Maintenance Practice: DC Motors

OGTS – M74: Electrical Maintenance Techniques: Cells & Batteries and Uninterruptible Power Supply

There are no specific entry requirements however, it is recommended that learners complete the OPITO Global 1 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practice (Electrical) or equivalent training before undertaking this training certificate.

This training certificate consists of one mandatory group containing two units, all of which must be successfully completed along with a minimum of three optional groups (two units in each group) to achieve the OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Electrical)
