To achieve the OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Oil and Gas Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical Technician) the learner needs to complete both of the units.

OGOS – M07: Carry out Routine Maintenance on Mechanical Oil & Gas Plant & Equipment (Distribution Systems)

OGOS – M08: Carry out Routine Maintenance on Mechanical Oil & Gas Plant & Equipment (Prime Movers)

To achieve the OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Oil and Gas Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical Fitter) the learner needs to complete the below unit:

Entry is at the discretion of the OPITO

Learners should be in a job or placement where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow then to gather the required evidence.

To achieve the OPITO Vocational Qualification 2: Oil and Gas Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical) the learner needs to complete two out of the three available units.
