OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)

This training certificate is aimed at learners who are already familiar with the basics of an engineering workshop environment.

The training certificate consists of the two mandatory units below, which must be successfully completed.

•OGTS– M23: Health and Safety in Oil and Gas Maintenance Workshops

•OGTS –M24: Maintenance Working Practices

In addition, a minimum of 3 equipment groups from the below must be successfully completed:

•OGTS – M46: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Diesel Engines

•OGTS – M47: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Diesel Engines

•OGTS – M48: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Power Generation Gas Turbines

•OGTS – M49: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Power Generation Gas Turbines

•OGTS – M50: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Air Compressors

•OGTS – M51: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Air Compressors

•OGTS – M52: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Bearings and Seals

•OGTS – M53: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Bearings and Seals

•OGTS – M54: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Gearboxes and Gearing Mechanisms

•OGTS – M55: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Gearboxes and Gearing Mechanisms

•OGTS – M56: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Transmission Components

•OGTS – M57: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Transmission Components

•OGTS – M58: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems

•OGTS – M59: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems

•OGTS – M60: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps and

Valves

•OGTS – M61: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps and Valves

•OGTS – M62: Mechanical Maintenance Techniques: Piping and Pipe Connections

•OGTS – M63: Mechanical Maintenance Practice: Piping and Pipe Connections 

There are no specific entry requirements however, it is recommended that learners complete the OPITO Global 1 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practice (Mechanical) or equivalent training before undertaking this training certificate.

The training certificate consists of one mandatory group containing two units, all of which must be successfully completed along with a minimum of three optional groups (two units in each group) to achieve the OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical).
