Lift Planning for Basic Lifting Operations in the Wind Industry Further Training

The product is intended for learners who are required to participate and/or assist in the planning of basic lifting operations, including but limited to, construction, operations, maintenance and decommissioning, using fixed or low-capacity equipment and who have previously completed the OPITO Lift Planning for Basic Lifting Operations in the Wind Industry initial training. 

The objectives of the Product are to ensure that learners are aware of any wind industry updates regarding lifting operations and to conduct risk assessments and lift planning both in a group and individually.

The aim of the Lift Planning for Basic Lifting Operations in the Wind Industry Further training, is to provide the learners currently working in the wind industry, with the opportunity to refresh their theoretical and practical skills to plan and organise basic routine lifting operations.

Learners are required to have a valid (in-date) OPITO-approved Lift Planning for Basic Lifting Operations in the Wind Industry Initial Training certificate.

To achieve the Lift Planning for Basic Lifting Operations in the Wind Industry further training learners will need to complete the 2 mandatory units.

Please note: If the expiry date on the learners previous certificate is within 3 months prior of the course enrolment date then the date of the new certificate should correspond with the expiry date of the existing/previous certificate unless stated otherwise by the Duty Holder or Asset Owner or Operator.
