Internal Verifier Initial Training Standard

The internal verifier initial training has been developed for individuals within an organisation who are designated to be internal verifiers.

This Product covers the initial training to enable trainee internal verifiers, now referred to as learners, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills which underpin the tasks to be performed as an Internal Verifier.

There are no formal entry requirements for attendance on the Internal Verifier Training Programme. However, learners should understand the assessment process including relevant steps and terminology.

To achieve the OPITO Internal Verifier Initial Training Standard the learner will need to complete the 2 mandatory units.
