Aim and objectives:

The ERRV Crew Further Advanced Medical Aid Training course is designed to meet the updating, further practice and assessment requirements for the role of an ERRV Advanced Medical Aider for existing ERRV Advanced Medical Aiders.

Delegate pre-requisites:

A valid OPITO Approved Initial Training for Shipboard Operations (ITSO) certificate or reassessment through the Ongoing Onboard Development and Training Programme. (OODTP) and a valid OPITO ERRV Crew Advanced Medical Aid certificate.

Validity:

2 years. This course should be undertaken within 2 years of qualification as an Advanced Medical Aider and at periods not exceeding 2 years thereafter.
