Modern Apprenticeship Programme Manager - Aberdeen

We are currently recruiting for a Modern Apprenticeship Programme Manager to join our team in Aberdeen. 

The primary function of the role is to lead to the development and expansion of the current Modern Apprenticeship Programme into new energy sectors, extensive stakeholder engagement with the wider energy sector, and to create, design and run new apprenticeship programmes in the UK and internationally. 

Main functions may include some or all of the following: 

  • Overseeing and direction of the MA programme recruitment campaigns including interviewing applicants 
  • Vetting potential new colleges and/or training centres 
  • Contributing to development of college/training centre performance 
  • Review of monthly trainee performance and behaviour and report same to sponsor companies 
  • Promoting MA Programme to Industry and Education  
  • Supervising and developing MA Reviewers 
  • Arranging and participating in MA Programme steering group meetings 
  • Ensuring internal processes are up to date and being applied (e.g. use of the HUB, FIPS systems etc.) 
  • Ensuring that MA contract arrangements are up to date and being applied effectively 
  • Ensuring that all employment law policies are up to date and MAs have a good understanding of requirements and expectations 
  • Taking the lead on all MA Employee Relations matters, in conjunction with the People Partner and external legal advisers 
  • Ensuring compliance with SDS and funding requirements and maintaining a good working relationship
